Movie Special Blog Released by PayPerPost

After a week plus of investigations, emails, support tickets & replies from Jillian, my movie special blog was finally reinstated on Monday 27th August, 2007. I got a few emails from the good people at PPP (PayPerPost) support informing me about the new status of my account.

I received a polite welcome email which also included a word of caution as to not to break PPP TOS (terms of service) again from Veronique. Fair enough, I also received another email from Karen telling me that PPP is confident about me being a PPP TOS abiding postie in the future. Good, because being a PPP TOS abiding postie is exactly what I am doing now & continue to be doing in the future. Continued from previous post.

Ambank NexG Card Balance Issue

Another issue that is being worked on by Ambank is that the web access for checking our NexG card balance is not available until further notice. I say it is good because it is what making my pin number list congested with so many Ambank pin numbers just to use one card.

I had the original pin number, the new pin number, the telephone banking pin number & the web pin number which I had forgotten its purpose. Checking an Ambank prepaid credit card account balance can be done over the phone with Ambank 24 hours support (603 - 2178 8888), Ambank telephone banking or at the bank counter at the moment.

Strategy for Using My New Ambank NexG Card

I am going to deposit funds into my new NexG card without inserting the card into the ATM (automatic teller machine) & make withdrawals on Ambank bank counters only. Also, I am going to use the ATM feature only during emergencies locally & overseas.

The NexG card has so many potentials for internet & international use yet the setback of the Ambank prepaid credit card is that the ATM machine is technically inferior to other bank’s atm machines which I have used. Now I am worried about having to buy another NexG card in case the ATM machine goes bonkers with my new pin number. One more incident like it then it is enough of using Ambank prepaid credit card services for me. Ambank NexG Card Balance Issue.

Another Credit Card Alternative MOL Freedom Card

Now EonBank is offering a Mastercard Unembossed Card named the MOL Freedom Card. It seems like a prepaid credit card but without the monthly fees yet it can be used for making payments like a credit card.

Depositing funds into the MOL Freedom Card range from 7-Eleven (rm4 top-up charge) to over the counter deposits at EON Bank & EONCAP Islamic Bank Branches & selected online banking institutions like Maybank2U & RHB Bank.

Maybe it can prove to be less complicated because some ATM (automatic teller machines) is known to retain cards for no apparent reason. All in all, the minimum rm25 MOL Freedom Card is another alternative to using credit cards for online purchases & internationally.

Email Regarding My Frozen PayPerPost Account

I finally received an email from PPP (PayPerPost) yesterday regarding my frozen account. It was mentioned that my account shall be suspended for one week. The penalty was measured since the first day that my PPP account was frozen to facilitate investigations last Friday 16th August 2007.

No more accidentally ‘holding’ offers for me. I am just thankful to be given another chance by PPP. I am keen to look at the status of my PPP account to be reinstated after tomorrow, Friday 24th August 2007. Hopefully, there are no permanent marring flags on my PPP account. With the much investment PPP receives from venture capitalists, I would expect that the PPP post submission system to be of a higher standard in the future & free of bugs. Waiting for PayPerPost to Reinstate My Account.

Services from Smorty to Benefit Both Advertisers & Bloggers

Immediately upon your blog’s approval from Smorty, you get two get paid to blog offers. Thereafter, publishers who blog for money are informed via email when there are offers from advertisers who advertise on blogs. Only suitable bloggers are notified regarding advertising campaigns. While waiting, bloggers should try to achieve higher Google pagerank, Alexa ranking, quality content, & etc in order for their blogs to appeal to advertisers.

Smorty requires a minimum of 150 words in a post. I find writing 150 words makes for a richer content in a post. I should think that the minimum 150 word requirements make the link to a client’s website more search engine friendly. In turn, it gives added value for money to an advertiser in the already cost effective market of blog advertising. Smorty is a good place bloggers to connect with advertisers & get paid for blogging. Payments for sponsored posts are made to blogger’s Paypal accounts.

PayPerPost Honoring Due Payouts Despite Freezing Blogger Accounts

I have what looks to be good news for fellow blogger in similar position as me. Despite PPP (PayPerPost) questionably freezing bloggers accounts including mine, the popular & famous blogging marketplace had continued to honor due payments to me. Other bloggers in similar position as me are probably receiving due payments through PPP too.

I just hope that the situation with my PPP account clears so I can continue getting blogging offers from advertisers through PPP. I was just planning to buy a PPP baseball cap when suddenly my PPP account got frozen. Obviously my shopping endeavor at PPP came to a screeching halt. More on PayPerPost freezing blogger accounts.

Sponsored Links with Money4blogs.com

Money4blogs.com offers bloggers an opportunity to make money. All we got to do is have a good blog with good PR (pagerank), I guess above PR3, then submit our blogs for approval. I am happy to mention that my movie special blog got approved within an hour & I got an offer to place a sponsored link on my blog for $30 a year which turned out to be around $28 after Paypal fees. I got paid for the sponsored link almost immediately after I replied to Money4blogs that I had placed it on my movie special blog. More about Money4Blogs.

Some Reasons for No Monthly VMI Debit Card Charges

I guess VMI (Virtual Money Inc) does not charge monthly fees to debit card accounts with insufficient balance to cover the monthly fees. In fact, there had never been a negative balance on my VMI debit card account. Therefore, I reckon that VMI only charged monthly fees to accounts with sufficient balance to cover monthly fees. I might be missing some information. Did VMI cease charging monthly fees in 2007? I doubt it. Perhaps only when the VMI debit card is used for payment, then there will be monthly charges. More about VMI debit card.

Perplexed about No Monthly Fees Charges to my VMI Debit Card Account

Strange how my VMI (Virtual Money Inc) debit card had not been charged its monthly fees since I started actively utilizing the card since end of June 2007. Prior to the date aforementioned, I had not made any transactions on my VMI card since around December 2006 last year.

Nonetheless, I had been logging on to my VMI debit card account once in a while after the above date. I am quite perplexed over the absence of monthly fees on my VMI debit card account. Maybe how I utilized the card did not qualify for monthly fees. I think I should query VMI email support about it. More about VMI debit card.

A Week’s Dry Spell of Offers at Blogitive

It seemed like the sales team at Blogitive had taken a summer holiday. I do not know about other Blogitive members but I had not received an offer from clients through the Blogitive blogging marketplace since a week ago. I know that the current situation had been forewarned by the Blogtive staff a few weeks ago but I did not expect the situation to stretch for a week. Basically, the situation caught me off guard a little bit. I am a good Blogitive supporter & I am going to bear with Blogitive in similar situations. More about Blogitive.

Today Movie Special Blog is Google Pagerank 3 Qualified

Today my movie special blog Google Pagerank got promoted to Pagerank 3! It took around three to four months of intensive content building, quick submission of the blog to major search engines (very easy), writing articles & submitting them to article directories (mostly in the first 3 months), consistent content addition (more than twice a week) & a bit of linking to other blogs. I did submit the links of interesting stories of my blogs to social networking sites too but only within the past month so perhaps it helped to get my blog increase pagerank too.

Confused Over Linkart Article Submission

I thought Linkart from Linkworth was a get paid to write article directory like Associatedcontent. After a bit of browsing on the web, I found that Linkart was a service to have your articles submitted to directories for a fee. Luckily I had not submitted anything yet or else I would be surprised to have my account charged a fee. By the way, I did my first Linkpost blog post a few days ago. The requirement was minimum 300 words for less than $5. I have seen better offers from other Blogging marketplaces.
