ADSL Unlimited Internet Connection in Tatarstan

So the internet connection in Tatarstan may not be as slow as I thought it would be previously. An acquaintance from Tatarstan of mine uses the ADSL unlimited internet connection at his home. He pays around $30 per month for the unlimited internet connection & told me that the connection goes around 500 kbps which is about half of what I receive at home in Malaysia. Wireless internet access is available at café’s for $4 an hour. Pricey!
