January 2008 UK Mortgage Lending Increase Surprise

The Mortgages UK lending had increased by 11% higher in January 2008 than in December 2007. As experts predict that lending will be lower in the coming months, the January increase was quite a surprise. Nonetheless, it could be seen as a slight rebound before the reality steps into the picture or in other words; the calm before the storm.

It is costly to buy a home nowadays because of the inflation of building material prices like in Malaysia & Russia. Perhaps it is the same in the UK too. There are many cases where folks had their homes taken away from them in the US because they could not keep up with the increasing interest rates for their mortgage loans.
