Why am I going with Sony with regards to my photography equipment? Firstly, I like the white colored telephoto lens (I’m really not akin to having black DSLR camera but there is not much choice for DSLR users like me at the moment). Hence, having a white telephoto lens makes it pleasing for my eyes.
Of course, the white telephoto lens offers superb performance. Secondly, the Sony A300 has all the features & more of my previous favorite beginner DSLR, the Olympus e510. Third, Sony is the leader in broadcasting technology & plans to develop video capture into DSLR cameras so I might as well sit on the shoulders of a giant, metaphorically speaking.
