Some Problems Encountered with Windows Vista Home Basic

Some problems I encountered while using the new windows Vista Home Basic operating system is as listed:

1) Applications compatibility: Adobe Elements 3 cannot display images properly. The images are distorted & are shown smaller than its frame.

2) Vista does not automatically use the mouse to wake up the computer after sleep mode. You must select the option manually through the control panel. Otherwise, more often than not, you would have difficulty using the mouse as normal.

3) Some applications like Spybot Search & Destroy may not have full functionality unless run in administrator mode. To run such programs under administrator mode in windows Vista, you must right click on the program icon & select “run as administrator” option.

Microsoft, with its Windows Vista has successfully added more bureaucracy to what was previously automatic computer usage.
