The new Apple iMac G5 seems to look like how I reckon performance computers of the future would look; large, slim, fast & powerful. Why would they not be the size of cell phones? One factor would be the screen size.
Many people like to see large & realistic images on screen especially CGI (computer generated imagery) professionals, graphic artists & gamers. Anything less than A3 size would create a lack of eye candy issue.
