There is not much current news of progress that can be found regarding e-gold company Omnipay’s transition into Africa. There were rumors that e-gold chooses to no longer operate in the U.S. (server wise) with FBI, NSA & what have you hot on their tails.
E-gold could still survive in Africa especially in Nigeria since plenty of scammers from Nigeria. E-gold is synonymous with scammers, because of it, I do not mind seeing e-gold closed. Besides, there is the wide selection of A-gold to Z-gold that can take its place, hopefully with better identity verification to keep the scammers at bay.
