Seth Lloyd, a professor at M.I.T (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) had created a prototype of what is to be a hybrid Quantum computer. By the way, you are going to notice his laugh. The professor’s team inputs data from a normal computer & uses atoms to do the quantum computations. The professor found that the atoms can provide a result of simultaneous one or zero as compared to a normal computer providing a result of either only a one or a zero. It seems like there is quite a long way to go before his quantum computers reach the commercial market.
