The Nokia N96 will sport a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, flash & video light. It will allow DVD-like quality video capture at 30 frames per second. SO hang on to your money before you buy a video camera but the digital camera still leaves much to be desired for the avid photographer. The device will feature dedicated media keys, a 3.5 mm headphone connector, and built-in 3D stereo speakers for playing music.
The Nokia N96 is integrated with A-GPS. Users will be able to 'geotag' their pictures with location data and share them with online communities. A whopping 16 GB of storage is featured with the Nokia N96. How the Finnish telecommunications giant was able to squeeze so much space into a smartphone is amazing.
A MicroSD slot with support for multi-gigabyte SDHC cards is included too. The Symbian smartphone will have S60, Third Edition, & the newest available Feature Pack 2. It will also include 128 MB RAM and 256 MB system memory. Perhaps in a few years, Nokia would like to produce hybrid smartphone/notebooks as the technology of the two devices is becoming more similar, not to mention the prices.
