InTel’s New Six Core Chip Necessary for Consumers?

Hence, the question of “Does your computer system really need the extra cores?” comes into mind. Parties who have just bought into the dual core & quad core chips will perhaps think about the unused cores on their computers before upgrading. Therefore, there is a chance for AMD to retain some market share in the second half of 2008 as people are reluctant to upgrade to unnecessary six core advancement from Intel. It seems that the only reason why Intel is coming out with the six core Dunnington chip is to show the consumers how far ahead it is in 2008 against AMD.
