What to like about it? 

Its too fast for PC Gaming *note the out-of-place sarcasm here*. 

It is a true Quad (4) core processor *Screw Hyper-threading*. 

PC Gamers know the i7 is RM400 better spent elsewhere *ahem* Better GPU anybody?* 

Why buy this CPU? 

The i7 is an unnecessary overkill for PC Gaming. 

Its a Giant Killer. With the right system setup, this CPU can be overclocked to 5Ghz and outperform even the mighty Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition 4.7 Ghz (non-overclocked) RM3400 CPU in gaming and Multimedia benchmarks. Want to overclock this CPU to a 5Ghz monster? 

With the money saved from buying i7-3960X Extreme Edition 4.7 Ghz RM3400 CPU one could very well buy the best overclocking Mobo, a SSD, Water cooling system, fancy pc casing, and etc. 

Still, a minimal overclocked i5-3570K should be enough for combined gaming, 3D Rendering, and general use purposes - Super adequate unless somebody is going for benchmark record breaking performance. 

Knowing the real value of the i5-3570K is already a true satisfaction.
