Intel will probably market its six core chip as a hyped advanced technological that consumers must, hence tightening Intel’s grip on the chip market. Software vendors who create applications that optimize the power offered by the dual, quad, six, & above cores will see their products flying off the retail shelves! Although there is none on the immediate horizon to be seen & the software giant, Microsoft is only starting to show some interest in it. Hopefully it’s about new virtualization software for which the Dunnington was built to compute.
