Since you will be buying a laptop then I suggest you purchasing a mobile broadband account to optimize your internet mobility experience.

I don't know about India but in Malaysia such services would be the likes of Maxis, Celcom, & Izzi.

The services above are mostly cell phone companies & use cell phone technology to broadcast the internet connection.
