I don’t know whether the person had dysfunctional Windows after installing Avast anti virus on his/her pc but the question was ‘How to Delete Avast Anti Virus?’ Great, maybe I can just delete the Avast from the laptop & all hell will freeze over. Check out how to uninstall Avast at the Avast.com website or just use the instruction as below listed. Nonetheless you still have to download the aswClear exe file from Avast.com.

More often than not it’s not possible to uninstall Avast! the standard way - using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS in control panel. In this case, you can use our un-installation utility aswClear.
How to uninstall our software using aswClear.exe:
1. Download aswClear.exe on to your desktop
2. Start Windows in Safe Mode
3. Open (execute) the uninstall utility
4. If you installed avast! in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
5. Click REMOVE
6. Restart your computer
