Acer Sub-Laptop in NBReview Top 3

Over at notebookreview.com, the most popular laptop today is the HP Pavilion dv5t. Dell Inspiron 1525 is a fair second while the Acer One is third. The first two are normal 15” laptops while the third, which is the Acer One (@ USD$330) utilizes the Intel Atom processor & is only 8.9” display size. All of them use the integrated graphics system. In my opinion, a sub-laptop can be very small like the Atom One & have integrated graphics, very light, easy to throw about into the bag & take off to wherever.

Just don’t expect much from the Acer One because it won’t do more than surfing the internet, word processing, & other basic stuff. The 15” laptops on the other hand are at least 2kg in weight including the adaptor, batteries, & etc which is not good to carry in long distances but good enough to carry to the office where it stays on the desk most of the day & brought home in the evening. Performance wise, they do better than sub-laptops but lack the edge provided by dedicated graphics. You want small & powerful? Check out the ASUS F9s!
